Summer Tasting Event with Family Wineries of Washington.  We are delighted to inform you that our 2010 FWWS Summer Tasting Event will be at Ray's Boathouse on beautiful Shilshole Bay in Seattle!  Attendance will be limited to 150 Guests. Ray's catering will be providing appetizers to accompany our wines. The entry fee is $45, which is a great value! We plan to be pouring wine in our brand new FWWS Riedel tasting glasses which should show our wine at its best. Waterfront Seafood Grill’s Tenth Anniversary and Summer Hootenanny Celebration.  Named “Best Wine Event” by the 2008 Washington Wine Awards, the Summer Hootenanny at Waterfront Seafood Grill is even more of a hoot this year as the restaurant celebrates its 10th anniversary. Held on the expansive, breathtaking deck, the event features music, appetizers from Executive Chef Peter Levine, and wine from about 20 of Washington’s finest wineries. Music from The Dusty 45s and a guest appearance by Paul Mackay himself make this an event not to be missed. The celebration is July 29 from 6 to 9 p.m. Tickets are $75 (plus tax and gratuity) and must be reserved in advance by calling Waterfront Seafood Grill at (206) 956-9171.

Gig Harbor Wine and Food Festival – An exciting new event in the South Sound on the historic waterfront of this beautiful maritime community.  The inaugural 2010 Gig Harbor Wine & Food Festival, presented by the Harbor History Museum and the Gig Harbor Historic Waterfront Association, showcases the talents of Top Chef – Season 5 Fan Favorite, Fabio Viviani in a head to head celebrity cook-off with Gig Harbor’s own Craig Haslebacher, who recently bested Bobby Flay on TV’s Iron Chef America.  You’ll also find a wide variety of fine wine producers, chefs and culinary personalities at the Festival. Taking place on the grounds of the brand new Harbor History Museum, the Festival promises to be a remarkable wine and food experience... a celebration of “the good life.”
